I added two files for Download:
SeaUrchinSTLROTIERT is the scan file, rotated to upright position
SeaUrchinSTLSTEGE contains the scan file plus all support material needed for direct printing
Both models are postprocessed and fully watertight.
Sand Dollars still live nowadays. I added a photo of the Sand Dollar ecosphere in the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Monterey, CA, US.
