I was looking for a model to try to print accessory vehicle weaponry for 28mm AFVs. The
...さらに表示 commercial ones are of white metal and are often bent beyond recognition when you receive them or the plastic "bits" are often fragile; a bren gun barrel in real life was about 1.5" across, which works out to be just over 1 mm. in 1/56th scale... so the plastic weapons from Warlord sprues will often snap even when handled with care.
So I started with Zeta-Guns file, thickened it and added the magazine and barrel flare at the end of Bren's barrel.
I use the same model to make the Boys ATR; but made the magazine angular and barrel longer.
Please note these are not proportionally correct, but someone else playing bolt Action will be able to recognize - "oh, you've got a pintle Bren on that carrier", or recognize the Boys ATR poking out of the front glacis plate of your universal carrier. That is much better than saying "Oh that carrier is shooting at you; you can't see but it carries two bren guns.." The "Fog of War" defence may not work in the post-game debrief.
I made both the bren gun and the Boys ATR as "stand alones" - ideal for poking out the front of your carrier (or the Dingo Armoured Car I loaded a pic of); as well I made a pintle mount for you to put on the LRDG trucks, jeeps or the like.
NOTES on printing - please use both a brim and a raft; and use a very fine setting; these are tiny pieces and they will get messed up without a secure base on the build plate. if loading several onto one build, leave space between them; I found out the hard way in the initial test print.
