I was hoping to get it printed close to home, but the manufacture I selected could not complete the job so it was printed else where, but printed very well-
My model was really thin in spots, he was honest about having trouble printing the thin parts due to limitations of 3d printer, I told him to go ahead and print anyway even if some parts werent perfect. They still work, glad he was honest and tried.
I just left another lengthy review on some subpar prints from this manufacturer that were printed with black filament. Same story with the communication. I sent the manufacturer messages about infill, questions about the switch, etc. no response. The quality of these prints was vastly better than the others, and though I had to strengthen the clasp on the 3-0-5 print, it appears like I'm going to be able to use it.
To start, I was switched to this manufacturer by Treatstock. I was trying to get someone local since I'm in GA, but I was fine with the switch. That being said, I tried to establish a line of communication to no avail. I'm giving this manufacturer 3 stars on quality because although the knuckle prints came out pretty well with minimal stringiness and clean up, the 3-0-5 prints were a hot mess. Not only do they have holes on the underside where there should be material, but area where the clasp was broke on the slightest bend. I'm currently using some industrial glue to try to repair it, but it's very possible that those prints may go to waste. Sorry, I'm usually not one to leave a subpar review since I know how hard it is to fabricate things regurlarly, but this was just not the best.
